Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)

You could be eligible to receive a free box of shelf-stable food items each month if you are at least 60 years old and have an income that is at or less than 130% of the federal poverty level.  Recipients must live in Elkhart, LaPorte, Marshall or St. Joseph Counties.

Participants receive items such as canned fruit and vegetables, powered milk, canned chicken or tuna, fruit and vegatable juices, cereal, pasta, peanut butter and fresh cheese.

100% ($44,756) [FY 2021 - 2022] of the total costs for The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) are financed with federal funds.
