Give Food

One of the lifebloods for the Food Bank of Northern Indiana is the ongoing food donations received by individuals and groups in our community from food drives and personal donations. These donations give an immediate impact to our agencies by filling shelves across northern Indiana with needed shelf-stable food supplies.

When looking to make a donation of non-perishable food to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana, please consider the following items desperately needed by those suffering food insecurity issues:

Canned Fish and Meat
Canned Vegetables and Fruit
Cereal and Oatmeal
Cooking Oil
Dry Pasta and Sauce (plastic jar)
Fruit Jelly
Juice (boxes or cans)
Dried Beans
Macaroni and Cheese
Mayonnaise
Meat helper boxed mixes
Pancake/Waffle Mix
Peanut Butter
Rice
Nutritional Snacks
Soup
Baby Diapers, Food and Formula
Personal Care Items (shampoo, bar soap, deoderant)

Donations are accepted at the Food Bank of Northern Indiana during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. –  4:30 p.m. Our address is 702 S. Chapin Street in downtown South Bend, Indiana.  Large donations can be scheduled to be picked up by Food Bank drivers by calling our Transportation Department at 574-232-9986.
